PRP
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Facial
The Platelet Rich Plasma Treatment (PRP) is a two step process. You need to be properly hydrated before the procedure. Please drink plenty of fluids. First, patient’s own platelet rich plasma is extracted from his/her own blood (that’s why sometimes it’s called Vampire Facial). The blood then processed to separate plasma. The result is plasma with concentrated amount of platelets. Introduced under the skin it stimulates production of collagen, renewing and refreshing the skin. It can be delivered by specialized form of mesotherapy, which is one of the most successful anti-aging treatments in aesthetics.
Your own blood is used as natural filler and skin booster solution that induces synthesis of collagen. This stimulation aids in the overall firming and toning of the skin, resulting in a more youthful and rejuvenated appearance.
Utilized in various ways, the platelet solutions can be introduced with injections or by using Microneedling machine.
How does it work?
Human blood consists of many elements, such as plasma, red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets. Plasma is a primary component found in blood. First, blood is drawn from the patient. Through a process called centrifugation, the platelets are separated from the other blood cells, which then increases the platelet concentration within the plasma.
This newly formed platelet rich plasma is then injected into the specific treatment area, so your skin starts regenerating collagen and elastic fibers more efficiently.
Vascular Endothelial Growth Factors (VEGF) are one of the most important PRP components which functions to increase blood flow, oxygenation leading to increased collagen growth, tissue healing, and skin regeneration.
The use of a patient’s own blood eliminates any allergic reactions associated with blood transfusions.
These platelets aid in the body's ability to heal damaged tissue and promote new cell growth because they contain hundreds of natural growth factors. PRP is an advanced anti-aging and healing treatment.
What's Inside?
Platelet rich plasma is not only rich in platelet cells but also numerous growth factors that play a role in tissue growth, healing, and regeneration. These specific growth factors include: Transforming growth factors beta (TGFB), Platelet-derived growth factors (PDGF), Insulin-like growth factors (IGF), Vascular endothelial growth factors (VEGF), Epithelial growth factors (EGF), and Fibroblast growth factors-2 (FGF-2).
Who is the optimal candidate for the PRP Vampire facial?
Since PRP is a completely natural treatment, there’s no risk of allergy or rejection. It can be done on all skin types. The treatment is ideal for individuals looking for gradual but noticeable improvement in skin texture, tone, volume and color. It gives you a fresher and healthier appearance without looking frozen or over-plumped, without aggressive surgery, chemicals or toxins.
Please drink plenty of fluids before the procedure!
